Roronoa Zoro fan illustration inspired by his intense battle against King the Wildfire during the Wano Arc in One Piece. For this piece I wanted to capture the explosive momentum and raw power of Zoro’s three-sword style as he clashes with one of Kaido’s strongest commanders.
The composition focuses on forward motion and aggressive perspective, with Zoro launching toward the viewer while King braces for the impact in the background. The sweeping sword arcs and energy effects were designed to emphasize the speed and destructive force of Zoro’s attack while guiding the viewer’s eye through the action.
I aimed to push the lighting and colour contrast to create a dramatic, high-energy scene inspired by anime battle cinematography. The green aura surrounding the blades reflects Zoro’s mastery of Enma and the overwhelming haki energy unleashed during this fight.
This artwork was illustrated and rendered in Adobe Photoshop, using a combination of digital painting, anime-style rendering, and comic-inspired linework.
