For this piece, I wanted to capture the explosive intensity and power of Gohan’s Beast form when he used Special Beam Cannon for the 1st time. While pushing the lighting and energy effects to feel cinematic and larger than life.

The composition focuses on dynamic perspective and forward momentum, with the energy blast breaking toward the viewer to heighten the sense of impact. I also incorporated anime-inspired lighting and dramatic contrast to emphasize the raw power of the transformation.

This artwork was illustrated and rendered in Adobe Photoshop, using a combination of digital painting and comic-style linework.
